Features include custom windows, menus, pop-ups, scroll bars, buttons, icons, and more. Niji comes with several predefined appearances, such as "True NeXT" (a genuine NeXT-like interface), "Jump to Eight" (for System 7 users), "Back To Seven" (for nostalgic MacOS 8 users), "Grand Prix", "Waves", etc. Just try them out! Each interface is stored in a separate Appearance file. Advanced users can design and distribute their own customized Appearance files. Niji requires System 7.0 or later, and is fully compatible with Mac OS 8. Users of OneStep version 1.0 or 1.1 Move your old OneStep extension to the trash. Launch the Update OneStep Prefs to Niji utility before installing Niji. Your OneStep preferences are automatically converted for use with Niji, and your old OneStep fonts are moved to the trash. Note that you'll have to restart before you can actually delete the old fonts by emptying the trash. Copy the Niji extension to your Extensions folder, and the Niji fonts to your fonts folder.
